Betsy Nejat, CAE, Senior Director Partnerships & External Relations, CHIMA

Betsy Nejat is the senior director of partnerships and external relations with the Canadian College of Health Information Management and CHIMA, Canada’s health information management association. A Certified Association Executive (CAE) with CSAE, Betsy has over 18 years of experience in
marketing and partnership development for both corporate and not-for-profit organizations. She
has spent the last 10 years at health care associations, leading the successful development and execution of non-dues revenue channels, strategic partnerships, and new product and service
offerings.

Aidan Augustin, Founder, Feathr

Aidan Augustin is the co-founder and President of Feathr, an industry-leading tech company building marketing tools specifically tailored to the needs of associations and event organizers. Feathr has helped over 800 associations and 5,000 conferences, trade shows, and virtual events grow attendance, member engagement, and digital sponsorship revenue. Based out of their Gainesville, FL headquarters, Aidan leads the sales and marketing functions of Feathr and spearheads industry engagement. He is an actively involved member of both ASAE and IAEE and a regular speaker on the topics of digital marketing and event/association technology.

Natalie Rumscheidt, Director of Marketing & Communications, Coaching Association of Canada

Natalie has a diverse background in strategic marketing and communications with over 20 years of management experience in Canadian sport, business development, and performing arts sectors.  As the Marketing and Communications Director at the Coaching Association of Canada, Natalie works with partners of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) to raise the skills, stature, and value of coaches in Canada. 

Natalie’s marketing, event management, and media relations experience has focused on delivering successful and creative campaign strategies in previous roles at the National Arts Centre, the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games, and the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Volunteer Ottawa’s Board of Directors, and an advisor to the Marketing Committee of the Board of Jesse’s Journey.  A native of Ottawa, Natalie holds a B.A. from St. Francis Xavier University.  A passionate sports fan and lover of the arts, she remains active as a volunteer, athlete, and coach in her community.
