These virtual conversations are the perfect opportunity for both members and non-members from Ottawa-Gatineau to discuss, connect and exchange.
What’s Brewing Ottawa Gatineau! takes place the last Tuesday of every month at 8:00 am EST. Check our events page for upcoming meetings! These sessions are free to CSAE members and non-members.
CSAE Ottawa-Gatineau CEO Roundtable Series
Association Executive Directors and CEOs have specific responsibilities and are sometimes isolated from other staff. Having access to a network of peers to talk to is often what bring these individuals to CSAE. The new CSAE Ottawa-Gatineau CEO Roundtable Series aim at addressing their specific needs by hosting events for association Executive Directors and CEOS made by association Executive Directors and CEOS.
CSAE Ottawa-Gatineau CEO Roundtable Series takes place the third Wednesday of every month at 12:00 pm EST. Check our events page for upcoming meetings! These sessions are free to CSAE members who are executive directors or CEOs.
Young Professional Network (YPN)
The YPN is a group of Young Professionals, aged 35 and under and working in or considering a career in an Association, partaking in professional development and networking opportunities. Each year we provide an average of 4 events that are designed specifically for YP’s by YP’s working in the Association sector. We focus on topics of interest to the industry, some of the past have included:
- Becoming an Outstanding Performer for your Association
- What Associations Sectors Exist in Canada?
- Networking Best Practices, Tips and Tricks
- Dealing with Different Personalities in the Workplace
- Executive/YP Networking Sessions
Check our events page for upcoming news . Please note that you do not need to be a member of CSAE to attend these events, you just need to be working in an Association/Not-For-Profit Organization. Of course, if you are over 35 and interested in the topic, we are more than happy to have you!

- An executive member in good standing, or working for a not-for-profit organization that has membership with CSAE; and
- 35 years of age and under throughout their entire term.
